Today the government announced that we can officially take the 4th of July as the confirmed date that holidaymakers can return to Devon and stay overnight at a self-catering cottage. So we are very pleased to announce that Devon Holiday Cottages is open for business! We always had the 4th of July as a date and were not accepting bookings before this, but this had remained a tentative date until today’s announcement.

In more good news, Devon, in our humble opinion, has never looked so good. All the charm, countryside and stunning coastline is still there and looking great. A large number of attractions are reopening but please be aware that visits may be needed to pre-booked. If the thought of airport delays, potential quarantine or just being on a plane currently fills you with dread then let us remind you that the United Kingdom has so much to offer as a holiday destination and Devon is a popular destination for a reason.

And now comes the hard part. Decisions. Do you want a thatched cottage?
