From the moment you step through your front door, you will feel at home in the big spacious rooms. From the long hall, head into the sitting room, a lovely place to relax beside the wood-burning stove and watch TV. French windows looking over the garden. Leisurely meals around the long sociable table in the dining room, enjoying food prepared in the smart, well-equipped kitchen, will be a highlight of the day. And, when you're ready for bed, head upstairs to the four comfy bedrooms, two with handy en suites. Children (and the young at heart) will love the outdoor freedom here, with a pretty, safely enclosed garden around the house and the farm to explore beyond, where you can feed the hens and pet animals and play in the adventure playground, or in the games barn if the weather isn't kind. Snooker Room with full-size table, Toy room, Games room and the star is the indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi in the barn near the house for a dip whenever you choose. For more activity, pony riding is available nearby, the Tamar Lakes are excellent for water sports and the fabulous surf beaches at Bude and Sandymouth are within easy reach. With the towns shops and pubs nearby, Yellowland Farm is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday.
Holsworthy is a market town set in stunning countryside amidst rolling hills. Every Wednesday they hold the popular Pannier Market which dates all the way back to the 12th century. The Holsworthy Museum features displays and information on rural life in days gone by. A variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants can be found around the square.
Holsworthy is the ideal base for exploring Devon. As a base, it offers the peace and tranquillity of the countryside but you also have easy access to the Hartland Peninsula, the sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay, Dartmoor is within an easy drive as is the Tamar Valley.
