Westgate Cottage is an enchanting, traditional Grade II listed cottage in a wonderfully peaceful location in the mid-Devon village of Lapford. This 300-year-old semi-detached cottage is the perfect spot for couples, friends or families to come and enjoy a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle. Step into the cottage and into the warming sitting room with traditional wooden beams, a corner sofa, TV and a stunning inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, what better way to curl up and watch a favourite film? The living area is open plan, with the kitchen and dining areas boasting charming wooden units, and a useful utility room. Surrounding the village there is a choice of National Parks Exmoor and Dartmoor, and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty for you outdoor enthusiasts, there are also some fantastic towns and villages worth exploring. The cottage is within easy driving distance of the fantastic National Trust property Castle Drogo, or why not visit the lovely golden stretches of beach at Saunton Sands or Croyde Bay. Lapford has a playground with playing field 2 minutes walk from the cottage, and there is a large soft play and outdoor play area 3.5 miles away.

The village is 10 miles from the town of Crediton and is also on the request stop for the Tarkka Train Line which runs from Exeter to Barnstaple taking in the stunning scenery along the way.
