Lapford is a rural, traditional village steeped in history, even with its own ghost! The village is 10 miles from the town of Crediton and is also on the request stop for the Tarkka Train Line which runs from Exeter to Barnstaple taking in the stunning scenery along the way. The village has a pub, a fenced playground and a football pitch. This is a destination perfect for those wanting a rural retreat but close to larger towns. We have a great collection of Lapford self-catering cottages from which you can enjoy the area.
