Description
This beautiful Lodge is the perfect retreat away with a hot tub to relax in after a day of exploring or a dip in the communal outdoor swimming pool. Discover woodland walks on your doorstep or venture further and you have a choice of Exmoor National Park with its magical moorlands or Dartmoor National Park both within 25 miles. Within 10 miles is RHS Rosemoor set in over 65 acres of enchanting gardens or Dartington Crystal which offers glass painting for all the family or watch one of the Glassblower’s demonstrations. If you want a game of Golf, then only 3 miles away is Highbullen where you can enjoy a game on the 18-hole golf course and follow it up with one of their delicious cream teas.
As you enter this stylish lodge take off your muddy boots and relax. On the ground floor, you have an open-plan kitchen/dining room which is a great social area to cook up a lovely family recipe. On this floor are the two bedrooms, one of which has a king-size bed and an en-suite and a twin room with 2 singles and a trundle bed to sleep an extra 1 if needed. Nearby is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Taking the staircase up the beautiful relaxing lounge with three large comfy sofas to relax on after a day of adventure and snuggle down to watch a favourite movie on the Smart TV.
Step through the patio doors onto the balcony with sun loungers and patio furniture, dine outside or sit in the hot tub watching the sunsets over the spectacular rolling countryside. There is also a communal pool which is open in the summer months.

High Bickington
High Bickington is a rural village in North Devon within a short drive of the coast and some excellent beaches at Westward Ho!, Bideford, Barnstaple and Saunton. The village has two pubs, the Old George Inn and the Golden Lion Inn as well as a small community shop and some small independent shops. Close by is Libbaton Golf Club and within the village itself is Tony Cummings Glass where you can spend the day learning the art of glass blowing. Visit Northcote Manor for an afternoon tea in wonderful surroundings or for those with an interest in history the Cobbaton Combat Collection has military vehicles from the second world war.
