Topsail is a well-presented terraced cottage in the town of Dartmouth in Devon. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a second floor double and a twin as well as a family bathroom. The remainder of the cottage is made up of an open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a wood burner. To the outside is roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis and a rear decked balcony with furniture and a lower terrace. Set in a conservation area with views across the River Dart, Topsail offers an enjoyable holiday the year-round.

This character terraced cottage is set in an elevated position, a short walk from the town of Dartmouth, with far-reaching views across the stunning River Dart estuary. The cottage is furnished to a high standard in a quiet location, ideal for two to four people keen to soak up the laid-back atmosphere of the town. The cottage is set over three floors with an open-plan living area on the ground floor. There are a well-equipped galley-style kitchen and a good-sized dining table; perfect for some great home-cooked meals to prepare and enjoy whilst benefitting the local views. The sitting area has a sofa and chair in front of the feature fireplace with a wood burner, making it a good place to relax after a full day exploring. There are two bedrooms, one on each floor, which is both beautifully presented and finished to a good standard of quality, with a family bathroom on the first level. Leading from the living area are patio doors onto an enclosed upper decked balcony with full glass balustrades and furniture, making it perfect for some alfresco dining whilst admiring views towards the river and the surrounding landscape. From the balcony there are stairs leading to a paved lower deck; a pretty, private terrace with bench, tables and easy chairs ideal for catching the afternoon and evening sun. The town and riverside are just a 5-minute walk where you can find excellent restaurants, interesting boutique shops and of course all the activities along the waterfront. These include sailing and river cruises up the River Dart to Greenway (Agatha Christie's former holiday home). The Dartmouth area offers a wide range of days out including wine and cheese tasting at the award-winning Sharpham vineyard, exotic gardens open to the public and wonderful walks along the South West Coast Path. Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon, offering many local events throughout the year, such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. Also within reach is the stunning beach at Blackpool Sands, which is one of South Devon's most beautiful natural treasures, set in a sheltered bay surrounded by evergreens and pines. The beautiful estuary and the coast are home to many watersports such as sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding or why not try surfing at one of the nearby surf schools. Relax on the sandy Blue Flag awarded Blackpool Sands Beach, one of the most popular family beaches in the area or if feeling more energetic use the beach as a base for a walk as the beach is directly on the South West Coast Path.

Visit Dartmouth Castle, superbly located in the mouth of the estuary with wonderful views from the top tower and has been guarding the area since 1388. Explore Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie now run by the National Trust. Nearby Woodlands theme park boasts the largest watercoasters in Devon, a farm with all the family favourites including meerkats, all set within beautiful grounds of 100 acres. Take a trip on one of the many ferries and head out for a day to explore nearby Salcombe, Torquay or Totnes or stay on land and explore the English Riviera on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
