Agatha Christie was born here the Inernational Agatha Christie Festival is held annually and you can walk the Agatha Christie mile to discover some of the murder scenes from her books. Take the steam train to Kingswear and enjoy a trip along the River Dart.

Plenty of activities available on the calm waters of Tor Bay including sailing dinghies, yachts and motorboats with sea schools available for those looking to take a structured course. There are plenty of beaches nearby, you will be spoilt for choice.
