Description
This beautiful property is centrally but quietly situated in the popular and attractive village of Braunton, with an array of surf shops, restaurants, pubs, and gift shops. Just outside the town is Braunton Burrows, England s largest sand dune system and a designated AONB which provides a lovely backdrop for scenic seaside walks. The famous Tarka Trail is on the doorstep; ideal and level for walking and all ability cycling. Just a short drive from the property are some of the region s best beaches, including the enormous and breathtaking Saunton Sands, Woolacombe Beach, Croyde s surfing Mecca and Putsborough. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with the nearby South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park, not to mention a plethora of National Trust land. Within a fifteen-minute drive is the busy Victorian harbour town of Ilfracombe boasting a huge sculpture by the renowned artist Damien Hirst overlooking the quayside with shops, cafés and restaurants abound!
On arriving at the cottage you enter into the hallway with coat and boot storage and a utility cupboard housing the washing machine, adjacent to this is the bright and spacious shower room with walk in shower, WC and large heated towel rail. On your left is the stylish king-size bedroom with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Heading upstairs you will find yourself in a delightfully light and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The stunning kitchen area has everything you need to cook up a storm including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a breakfast bar to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine! The bijou dining area has table & chairs for you to enjoy your evening meal whilst planning the next day’s adventures. After a busy day, relax on the comfortable large corner sofa and catch up with your favourite programmes on the Smart TV.
Outside you’ll find a fully enclosed courtyard garden, with al fresco dining furniture and a charcoal BBQ. There is also the shared orchard with seating to enjoy the sunshine with your favourite drink and watch the apples grow! There is parking space for one vehicle.

Braunton
Braunton is a small parish village situated near Barnstaple. Known as "the gateway to the northern Coast", it is the base for all watersports. The village is close to the surfing beaches at Croyde and Saunton Sands. The village has a surfing vibe to it and a few surfing shops which reflect this. Barnstaple is a 15-minute drive away and is the largest town in Devon. From here you can explore the Tarka Country and the 180 mile Tarka Trail. If you don't fancy walking then take the picturesque Tarka train line. Exmoor National Park is 20 minutes from Barnstaple. This offers spectacular views of the countryside. It is a mecca for walking and nature enthusiasts.
