A bar and storage area features a large coffee maker, water boiler and toasters, so everything is to hand for breakfast or after-dinner coffee. Welcome boxes, celebration cakes and catering can be provided on request (must be pre-booked). Catering for all of your culinary requirements is the kitchen, boasting a wide range of commercial appliances including an oven and hob, dishwasher, fridges, microwaves and a large freezer. A generous hot cupboard will ensure your plates are warm and food can be kept hot until you are ready to eat. If you’d like to relax and leave the cooking to someone else, we can help arrange a private chef/ catering (subject to availability, this must be pre-booked). For an evening of entertainment indoors, the games area is sure to provide hours of fun, featuring a three quarter size snooker table, a darts alley and a board games corner, this area is great for the little ones and big kids alike. For some quiet time away from the excitement of the group, the snug area makes a great reading spot to unwind with a warming beverage in hand while you escape into a good novel. The snug is equipped with cosy seating and a library with a wide selection of books. The large log burner provides a warming focal point. As the evening draws to a close, you’ll be delighted to find eleven well-presented bedrooms situated across the first and second floors, each boasting their own en-suites, tea and coffee making facilities and televisions, you’re sure to feel right at home as you snuggle up to sleep after a day full of adventure. Outside the wonder continues, with a large, secure lawned garden with plenty of picnic-style tables, where you can enjoy your beverage fresh from inside the house and lots of space for your little ones and canine companions to play. The lawned garden has fruit trees and bushes, and is securely fenced. It is important to keep any dogs within the fenced garden as we are surrounded by farmland and farm animals- the friendly Devon ruby cows will greet you from their field behind the property! The lack of air and light pollution make this a wonderful spot for stargazing or enjoying the sound of the owls which live in the area. There is also a magical ‘hidden patio’ at the back of the property - only overlooked by the Devon Ruby cows. This fully lit decked area, with sturdy marquee and seating provides an idyllic spot to fully appreciate rural Devon. Steps from the bar area make it the ideal spot for a nightcap, afternoon tea or a chill-out session after Dartmoor or the beach.
