This delightful barn has been lovingly renovated throughout with contemporary styling and original features still present. Situated in the hamlet of Galmpton, this idyllic retreat is the perfect bolthole to explore. A less than a mile countryside stroll through fields brings you to the fishing village of Hope Cove with access to the sandy beaches and South West Coast Path. Salcombe is 3.8 miles with its stunning estuary and beaches, and Thurlestone Sands for brilliant sunbathing spots and water sports 5 miles away.
Entering the ground floor with reverse level living, kick off your shoes in the hallway and to your left is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, Smart TV and en-suite bathroom. Further down the hall is a bunk bedroom with a Smart TV and an additional trundle bed if required. Adjacent to this room is the family bathroom and the next bedroom offers a twin zip-and-link bed (can be made as a super-king-size on request) and a Smart TV. Completing the downstairs space is the final bedroom, a double with Smart TV and en-suite bathroom. Under the stairs, there is a cupboard with a useful washing machine. Moving upstairs, you’re welcomed into the stunning open-plan kitchen/living room which runs the entire length of the barn. With high-pitched ceilings and exposed beams at one end of the barn, you have the large kitchen area which comes fully equipped with everything you need and additional luxuries such as an AGA and instant hot water tap. In the centre of the barn is the grand dining table with space to fit the entire family around. Relax after a long day in the living space with comfortable sofas, Smart TV, DVD player, a Playstation console and a warming wood burner.
Heading outside, the barn is a communal garden patio space with outdoor seating. A short walk away is a communal BBQ and Pizza oven outdoor eating area, and there is an outdoor play area and table tennis available.

Galmpton
Galmpton is a pretty village by the River Dart with the towns of Brixham and Paignton a short drive away. It has a convenience store, a post office and a pub offering traditional home-cooked food and local ales. This peaceful and scenic village is an ideal base for exploring the local area. There are a variety of bridleways to explore on foot or by bike. A popular route is the walk to Greenway House, Agatha Christie's former holiday home, now owned by the National Trust. Explore this very grand-looking house and vast gardens and then relax in the cafe.
The sandy beaches of Broadsands Beach and Goodrington Sands Beach are not far from here. The beach at Goodrington Sands has a cafe and a section for dogs. Visit Berry Head Nature Reserve in Brixham. This area is a Special Area of Conservation and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Enjoy coastal walks around the stunning headland, spot a wide range of wildlife and relax in the cafe. For a family day out, visit Paignton Zoo. The zoo is set in 80 acres and has playgrounds for the children to run excess energy off in and a cafe.
