Settled in the small village of Trusham near Chudleigh, Devon is this picturesque, end-terrace cottage of The Lodge at The Cridford Inn. In a great location for touring Devon, just opposite The Cridford Inn pub and restaurant, this dog-friendly cottage is a great base for touring Devon with Dartmoor National Park and the coast both within reach. You'll find off-road parking in the pub car park on arrival, as well as a front patio with seating to savour summer evenings.

Step inside and be welcomed into the sitting room to lounge on the sofas, watch the Smart TV, and there's even a sofa bed to sleep two guests. Just next door is the contemporary kitchen/diner with everything you need for home cooking, dining with your loved ones at the table for six, and a handy washing machine. Upstairs, you'll find two homely bedrooms, one double and a twin, as well as a beautifully finished bathroom with a bath and shower over.

When you don't fancy cooking, head to The Cridford Inn, a dog-friendly pub serving traditional British fare, or head to the town of Chudleigh. You'll find convenience stores, restaurants such as the Phoenix Chudleigh, and Finlake Falls waterpark for family-friendly days out.

Chudleigh is a pretty market town steeped in history dating back to the Saxon times. The area around the village has fantastic views and is often referred to as a "walkers paradise" Chudleigh is near to Dartmoor National Park and within 8 miles of Teignmouth beach. The village has a supermarket, a pharmacist and a few cafes and pubs. We have a great collection of Chudleigh self-catering cottages from which you can enjoy the area.
