Walkers can enjoy wandering the farmland which consists of woodland and a lake, perfect for an afternoon picnic. Looking for a day on the sands, within a short car journey is the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho! known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park, it also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and amusements. The market town of Bideford is just a short drive away with an abundance of cafes, pubs, and the famous pannier market. The beautiful fishing village of Appledore, where visitors can enjoy a relaxing day trip pottering around the shops, strolling along the quay, and perhaps catching the ferry across to the neighbouring village of Instow with its yacht club and beach.

This single-story barn conversion is the perfect countryside retreat, offering a beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area allows you to sit back and relax amongst the rich soft furnishing and watch your favourite programme on the TV/DVD whilst the real flame effect electric fire glows in the background. The kitchen/diner consists of an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area will seat four guests comfortably and boasts access out onto the patio area. Heading down the hall you will find the two bedrooms, a double with TV and a twin bedroom. Completing the property is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venture outside via the kitchen/diner into the courtyard area, where you will find patio furniture and a BBQ, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining. There is private off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The historic maritime town of Bideford lies on the River Torridge on the North Devon Coast and makes for an excellent base to explore this area of Devon. With a great selection of shops, cafés, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants you won't need to leave the town for anything but there is so much to see and do in the area you will surely want to. Just a couple of miles away is Westward Ho!, with 2 miles of spectacular coastline and a Blue Flag awarded sandy beach. Just sit and enjoy the views or perhaps make a sandcastle or partake in one of the many water-based activities on offer including surfing. The walking is especially good around here with both the South West Coast Path and the Tarka Trail within easy reach. North Burrows Country Park provides 253 hectares of diverse landscapes to enjoy while the award-winning Big Sheep all-weather family attraction and the Ultimate Adventure Centre are just 1 mile away.
