The Anchorage is a large and spacious property situated right on the beachfront at Beesands with fabulous sea views, large enclosed front and back gardens, a sizeable kitchen/diner, five bedrooms and two reception rooms. This house is perfect for summer holidays, friends reuniting and special occasions. There’s plenty of space for all, including up to three dogs to enjoy their break in this popular seaside village.

Beesands is a charming fishing village situated in spectacular Start Bay. With a mile of shingle beach, a great local pub and restaurant serving a varied menu and locally caught fish, a popular fish shack and café, a children’s play park and village green, a freshwater lake, bird sanctuary and area of natural interest, all surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and situated right on the South West Coast path, there’s plenty for everyone to do. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge has a good selection of shops and restaurants twenty minutes away, as does the historic naval town of Dartmouth which is also worth a visit. This is a truly idyllic place to enjoy a seaside holiday, and if that’s not enough, then there are many other attractions in the area for all to enjoy.

Kitchen area, new smeg 5-hub cooker with triple oven, new tumble dryer, new dishwasher, Nespresso machine, French doors into back garden, dining area with dining table and seating for 10, smart TV. Door into main sitting room, with couches and seating, smart TV. From utility area, hallway with door to rear garden and side passage, ground floor double bedroom, 4’6’’ double. Ground floor twin bedroom two 3’ beds, floor to ceiling glass window with door out to front of the house. Shower room shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. First floor, left to Bedroom 1, dual aspect windows, double bed, Bedroom 2, two 3’ single beds, Bedroom 3, double bed, en suite shower room, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. Family bathroom, bath, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

Outside: To the front, bench and enclosed garden, to the rear, fully enclosed back garden with gates on both sides of the house to close off half of the wrap-around garden (although dogs and children should be supervised at all times). Terrace area.

Beesands is a small fishing village sandwiched between Hallsands and Torcross. Beesands has a mile-long shingle Beach which was awarded the Blue flag for excellence. Behind the beach lies the village green and a freshwater lake called Widdecombe Ley. Sticking with tradition the local fisherman will still offer their catch of the day on the village green each day. The local village pub specialises in fresh fish and crab sandwiches prove very popular. Water sports are very popular on the beach and with the attraction of the beach shop and café plus a free car park, this makes the beach at Beesands very popular and is dog friendly. The beach at Hallsands, which is a short coastal walk away, is also dog friendly.
