In the Devon village of Hope Cove, Smuggler's View is a fabulous two bedroom first-floor apartment. One of the best locations in Devon for a couple or family of four, Smuggler's View is just a short distance from the beautiful beaches of Hope Cove and offers stunning views over the countryside as well as the sea. The open-plan living area is bright and airy, perfect for entertaining.

The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to whip up a delicious meal for your loved ones to enjoy over a bottle of wine as you recount the day's adventures. To unwind after dinner, you can curl up on the plush sofa to watch your favourite movie in the sitting area. Soak in the bath or freshen up under the shower after a long day of beach fun before choosing from two beautifully appointed bedrooms to catch your rest, a double and an adult bunk, both with plenty of storage for your belongings.

The Hope & Anchor for hearty pub fare and the Lobster Pod Bistro for fresh seafood are excellent options for refuelling at the end of the day. For stocking up on any essentials or ingredients, you can visit the village store. The South West Coast Path is just moments away, allowing you to enjoy miles of hiking while taking in the region's best scenery. You can rent a kayak to take to the waters or beachcombe the shores on the golden sands near the harbour.

Take a short drive over to Salcombe to discover the town's two beautiful beaches for a day of coastal exploration. The Crab Shed and The Winking Prawn, two of the town's most popular seafood restaurants, offer a tasty menu, along with the Salcombe Gin Distillery where you can sample the town’s award-winning gin.

After that, you'll arrive in the markete town of Kingsbridge with its pretty estuary and array of shops and cafes.

Hope Cove

Lying on the coast of the popular South Hams area of Devon, Hope Cove consists of two sandy bays called Inner and Outer Hope. The perfect destination for families looking for a traditional beach holiday with paddling, swimming, sand castles and rock pooling. The beaches have red sandstone cliffs to the rear which provide not only a beautiful backdrop but a shady area if needed. Both beaches back onto the charming village where there are plenty of places to eat out as well as shops for those last-minute beach needs. The more popular Mouthwell Sands beach also benefits from a seasonal lifeguard service and dogs are allowed between October and April. The village beach is pet-friendly all year round but must be kept on a lead.

Hugely popular, especially with families, we have a great selection of Hope Cove cottages but we would advise booking early as this area fills up fast.
