Situated at a mere stone’s throw away from the beach, you and your family can spend a summer’s afternoon soaking up the sun before dipping into the sea for a cooling swim. There is parking for one car in your own designated personal space. Ideally placed within the North Devon AONB and North Devon Heritage Coast, you will have access to a wonderful nature reserve, offering dramatic cliff-top views, country and coastal trails for walking and cycling. Discover Woolacombe Beach, with its 3 miles of golden sand, perfect for spending the day topping up on that tan, or taking the opportunity for some surfing. For walking lovers, you will find the South West Coast Path at the doorstep, where you can explore miles of dramatic coastal cliffs and wonderful scenery. Woolacombe is a large seaside town with lots to offer all ages. The town offers a friendly, lively atmosphere. The town has a mix of convenience stores, pubs, restaurants, 2 small cinemas and a nightclub. It is also a haven for wildlife. Lundy Island is home to Devon's puffin population. It is also visited by seals, dolphins and porpoises. It is also an area that sees a variety of migrating birds returning to the town every year for breeding. With 3 miles of golden sand, Woolacombe beach has won the Blue Flag and Premier Seaside Beach Awards for its cleanliness and water quality. It is very popular with families as there is a lifeguard on patrol over the summer. The beach is also popular with locals for surfing and a range of other water activities. Barricane Bay to the north end of the beach has a cafe offering fantastic views and great food. This is open from early Spring to late Autumn. High tide can reduce beach space here so it is best to check the tide times. A little further up the beach is Combegate beach which is great for exploring the rock pools.
