Ideal for families, as well as having a private patio area, Rose Cottage also enjoys the use of over three acres of shared gardens, perfect for children (and well-behaved dogs!) to run around in whilst the grown-ups can chill out and relax.

Inside, the cottage boasts a wealth of traditional features making it feel homely and welcoming. The open-plan living space is especially inviting with a large seating area, a feature exposed stone wall and an elegant dining area with French doors overlooking the gardens; all adding up to create a warm, friendly ambience. Talking of food, the kitchen has everything needed to whip up some delicious food for the whole family. When bedtime calls, make your way upstairs where visitors can choose from two appealing bedrooms including a double and a twin; both are stylishly presented and suitably rustic, helping to create a real feeling of cottagey cosiness.

Having woken up from a refreshing night’s sleep Rose Cottage is a great base to explore the wonders of the region. Trill has a shop and a pub within walking distance and the quaint village of Musbury which is situated within an Area of Outstanding Beauty is a short walk away. Places to visit from here include the charming market town of Axminster (home of the famous River Cottage) and the Victorian seaside town of Seaton which has its own tramway as well as places such as Lyme Regis, Beer Quarry Caves, Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens and Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary.

You must have a day at the beach while you’re here and you’re certainly spoilt for choice. Try Charmouth, Weymouth, Bournemouth and Monmouth, to name just a few.
