Rose Anne cottage is quietly tucked away in the centre of the picturesque East Devon town of Colyton in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Recently modernised and well equipped, this comfortable holiday home is conveniently located to take advantage of this fascinating Medieval town with its maze of narrow Saxon streets, and magnificent fifteenth-century church and listed buildings. There are a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants tucked away amongst the thatched Devon cottages and many glorious walks in the surrounding countryside. Only a few minutes drive from the stunning East Devon and West Dorset coastlines, the seaside towns of Seaton, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are all within easy reach. Secure garden for pets. One well behaved dog is welcome (and two dogs will be considered)
A tram service runs between Seaton and Colyton stopping at Colyford and passing alongside the Axe Estuary which is a nature reserve. There are numerous walks in every direction including some riverside trails and the River Coly flows from its origins further up the valley joining the River Axe just below Colyford. The mile-long shingle and sandy beach at Seaton is only 3 miles away and is rarely crowded.

Lounge/dining room with sofa and armchair, wood burner, flatscreen TV, Freeview, Roku stick for Amazon Prime and Netflix. Conservatory with dining table and chairs with access to the patio garden. Separate fitted kitchen with induction hob & electric oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Narrow Stairs which wind upwards and lead to the first floor and Bedroom 1 with King size bed. Bedroom 2 with twin 3ft beds.
Please Note: First floor access is via narrow winding stairs with a wooden hand rail. If guests have mobility issues we advise phoning the booking office for more information.

High street parking very nearby and a public car park within 100m of the property.

Colyton is a historic town 3 miles from Seaton and 6 miles from Axminster. The town has a convenience store and 3 pubs, The Gerard Pub dates back to 1506 and was rumoured to have been visited by Laurence of Arabia! The pub has a rear garden is dog friendly and serves traditional home-cooked food. Visit Axe Valley Wildlife Park in Axminister. Visit the Meerkats, Zebras, Chipmunks and much more and then unwind with a coffee while the kids play.
