The next stop is Yelverton which can be accessed via the Cadover Bridge, where you will find a good selection of pubs and restaurants, perfect for grabbing a tasty bite to eat and a cold drink after a long walk, as well as a well-stocked convenience store, hairdressers, butchers and an excellent golf club for those who have brought their clubs. Just a short drive away is the remarkable Buckland Abbey, a historic National Trust property which boasts and museum, beautifully manicured gardens and expansive woodlands with walking trails to be explored. Just a little further is the historic market town of Tavistock, where you can delve into the town’s heritage at the Tavistock Museum, visit the award-winning Pannier Market which has been taking place since the 11th century.
