At the other end of the property lies the bedrooms, comprised of a double and a twin, wonderfully suited to a family. Begin each morning with a refreshing shower before stepping out onto the decking, sipping on a fresh coffee as you plan for the day ahead.
A short stroll will bring you to the centre of Combe Martin, where you will be greeted by a good selection of shops where you can pick up some last-minute items to prepare a tasty picnic to bring out with you, as well as some traditional pubs serving food, ideal if you fancy a night off cooking. During the warmer months, spend an afternoon on Combe Martin beaches, perfect for sunbathing and sandcastle building, or get involved in an abundance of watersporting opportunities; or if you’re looking for a quieter place, Wild Pear Beach is a perfect choice.
If you’re seeking a little more adventure, visit the Hangman cliffs where hikers can explore this vast and striking landscape with many views across the coast, with trails leading further into the Exmoor National Park. Once those are completed, the coastal towns of IIfracombe and Lynton are within easy reach and offer a wide range of attractions to suit all ages and tastes.

Combe Martin exemplifies the best of both worlds lying on the edge of Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty while being on the popular North Devon coast. It is home to Combe Martin Beach, a sandy sheltered beach with some rocks to one side that is perfect for rockpooling that accepts pets between October and April. For a bit more seclusion take a 2km walk (steep in places) to Wild Pear Beach a very pretty cove protected by cliffs with more golden sands to enjoy. A visit to Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur is a must, set in beautiful surroundings with streams and waterfalls with a diverse collection of animals including meerkats, wolves, triceratops and brachiosaurus! No fewer than 10 gardens are within travelling distance as well as a host of National Trust properties you may need to stay an extra week to take everything in.
