It boasts three bedrooms; a king-size double with en-suite wet room and two twin rooms, sleeping six people in total. There is also a bathroom, ground floor cloakroom and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off-road parking for two cars and a private courtyard garden. On-site you have an array of facilities including a choice of coarse fishing lakes, children’s play area and a shared outdoor heated swimming pool. You can cook up a delicious meal and gather around the table to chat over the adventures you have had so far. Unwind into the evening in front of the TV in the lounge and later you can head upstairs to find a king-size double room with an en-suite, as well as two twin bedrooms. To the exterior is a lovely patio area with seating, for you to sit with a glass of wine in the summer and absorb the pleasant surroundings.

It has many shops including the famous Trago Mills, indoor and outdoor market and an array of restaurants, The Jolly Farmer pub is famous for its selection of gins and delicious home-cooked food, especially it’s chips! The Tean Thai restaurant is well known with the locals for its friendly atmosphere and great food. Dartmoor National Park is just 20 minutes away. There are great cycle routes and walking trails, The Great Templar Way runs for 18 miles from Dartmoor National Park through the town finishing at the coastal town of Teignmouth. The Virtual Jet Centre with its simulator is a must for any adventurous kids and adults alike. For those who love horticulture, there are the Orchid Farm to explore or the Local Nature Reserve within Newton Abbot itself. Decoy Park is a big country park with a playground and is dog-friendly, some beaches do allow dogs but please research this first as some are seasonal. If you do want a car-free day at the beach, then Teignmouth, Dewlish and Torquay are accessible by train from Newton Abbott and takes 11 minutes. No visit would be complete for those who love horse racing without visiting Newton Abbott Racecourse.
