Conveniently located just off Saunton Road and close to all the lovely craft shops, cafes and restaurants. A 2-mile drive to the beautiful Saunton sands with its golden sands, beach huts and a mecca for water sports including one of the best surfing beaches in the UK. Spend a day at Saunton Golf course with two 18-hole links course and 36 championship holes. Walking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with the South West coastal path and 15 miles from Exmoor National Park with woodland walks. Cyclists will love the Tarka trail with 180 miles of off-road safe cycling passing tearooms and stunning views along the coastline.
Entering this charming detached holiday home you will appreciate the light and airy feel and the open plan lounge/kitchen where you can relax on the comfy sofas after a day of adventure. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a favourite recipe and sit at the dining table with your family and friends. To the main part of the property, there are 3 bedrooms, a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, a twin bedroom and a double zip-n-link bedroom (can be made as twins on request). The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. A lovely snug/ games room is on the first floor with a Smart TV and lots of games to enjoy. To complete this delightful home there is a self-contained annexe for those seeking a bit more privacy, with a kitchen area with an electric oven, a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and WC and a cosy lounge with a TV and fire stick.
There are patio doors onto a pretty little patio area and stunning estuary views to wake up to and enjoy during your stay. The main garden is full of flowers and shrubs and offers a private area where you can dine outside on the lovely evenings and relax on the patio furniture whilst enjoying the Charcoal BBQ. Also in the garden, there is storage for bikes and a surfboard rack, lots of hanging rails for wetsuits and a hot outdoor shower. In the outdoor shed are a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Braunton is a small parish village situated near Barnstaple. Known as "the gateway to the northern Coast", it is the base for all watersports. The village is close to the surfing beaches at Croyde and Saunton Sands. The village has a surfing vibe to it and a few surfing shops which reflect this. Barnstaple is a 15-minute drive away and is the largest town in Devon. From here you can explore the Tarka Country and the 180 mile Tarka Trail. If you don't fancy walking then take the picturesque Tarka train line. Exmoor National Park is 20 minutes from Barnstaple. This offers spectacular views of the countryside. It is a mecca for walking and nature enthusiasts.
