Situated in the tranquil countryside within the owner’s grounds, this renovated annexe offers all your home from home comforts. The pretty village of Littleham is within walking distance down the traditional Devon country lanes, where you will find the local pub, which serves beautiful homemade food. The little white town Bideford is situated three miles away which boasts a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants to explore during your stay. The North Devon coastline, is also a short drive from the property, offering something for everyone. While walkers, bird watchers can enjoy beautiful strolls along the South West Coast Path. The pretty fishing villages of Instow and Appledore are both close by, offering an array of café, eateries and pubs. Other popular attractions such as the Tarka Trail, Tapeley Park, Hartland Abbey, Clovelly and RHS Rosemoor Gardens all lie within easy reach.

On entering this beautifully appointed retreat, the cloakroom is the perfect place to kick off your walking boots and hang your coats ready for your next adventure. Heading on through the property to your right is the master bedroom, offering a double bed and views over the rolling countryside. Across the hall are the light and airy shower room with shower and WC, offering plenty of space. Following on through you will enter the lounge/diner, a truly lovely space to unwind after a long day exploring all that North Devon has to offer. The lounge is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating, electric fire and flat-screen TV, the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring. The dining area allows you to enjoy a home-cooked romantic meal for two. Heading into the well-equipped kitchen which consists of an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

There is an elevated garden reached by a number of steps which runs the whole length of the property although very narrow from here you can enjoy stunning rolling countryside views. There is also a bistro set located next to the cottage which offers the perfect spot for morning coffee. Ample private off-road parking directly outside the cottage.

The historic maritime town of Bideford lies on the River Torridge on the North Devon Coast and makes for an excellent base to explore this area of Devon. With a great selection of shops, cafés, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants you won't need to leave the town for anything but there is so much to see and do in the area you will surely want to. Just a couple of miles away is Westward Ho!, with 2 miles of spectacular coastline and a Blue Flag awarded sandy beach. Just sit and enjoy the views or perhaps make a sandcastle or partake in one of the many water-based activities on offer including surfing. The walking is especially good around here with both the South West Coast Path and the Tarka Trail within easy reach. North Burrows Country Park provides 253 hectares of diverse landscapes to enjoy while the award-winning Big Sheep all-weather family attraction and the Ultimate Adventure Centre are just 1 mile away.
