Mixit Cottage is converted from a barn on a former farmstead in the countryside near the South Devon town of Kingsbridge. The cottage sleeps two people in one downstairs bedroom which can be a double or a twin, plus a bathroom. Upstairs is an open plan living space with a seating area with wood burning stove, a dining area and a kitchen. Outside is a shared indoor swimming pool and games room, three fishing lakes and an onsite health and beauty centre, plus parking for one car. Just one mile from the interesting town of Kingsbridge, Mixit Cottage is a lovely base for a Devon break for two.

Mixit Cottage is situated at the far end of the original farmyard of this working farm, close to the swimming pool and games room and beyond the farmhouse. Your open plan living space is spacious and comfortable, with a lofty ceiling, wood floor and a cosy wood-burning stove to snuggle up beside and watch TV. Head downstairs to find the bedroom, which can handily be a big double or a twin and has romantic French windows to open to a Juliet balcony, and the bathroom for a hot soak at the end of a busy day. Barbecues can be enjoyed in your own outdoor seating area. With the lovely pool, spa and fishing lakes on-site, Mixit Cottage is an excellent base for two. Located in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is one of the most popular areas for visitors as it offers so much. The estuary provides plenty of options to get on the water whether fancy sailing, kayaking or stand up paddleboarding. If you are just looking for a day on the beach then Salcombe, East Portlemouth, Blackpool Sands or the two beaches at Thurlestone will all fit the bill. Walkers have a choice of walking a section of the South West Coast Path or heading inland and enjoying the many trails in the AONB. Plenty of options when wanting to eat out and some excellent towns and villages to explore nearby including Salcombe, Beesands, Dartmouth and Bigbury-on-Sea.
