Across the hall is a large family bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. With its high ceilings, exposed beams and breakfast bar, the fully appointed kitchen offers a wonderfully sociable space for cooking together. The open-plan living area is spacious yet cosy, with the dining and sitting spaces slightly partitioned creating the illusion of two separate rooms. Outside there are three enclosed gardens. At the front of the property, there is a lawn with a babbling stream running along one side, there is also a gravel area with seating. At the back of the property, there are two separate enclosed gardens, bisected by the stream. Both offer lawn and seating areas, one of which being a raised platform with furniture and a BBQ. The gardens offer a tranquil place to relax, with the only sounds being birdsong and the trickle of the stream. Cockington is a picturesque centre boasting a number of traditional eateries, shops and the sixteenth-century manor house, Cockington Court, that has been converted into a thriving arts and crafts centre. The Court's acreage offers plenty of beautiful walking trails that are dog-friendly and full of fascinating sites. A short walk in the vibrant seaside resort of Torquay, a busy town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops as well as popular theatre. Meadow Thatch is a wonderful option for anyone wanting to visit the spectacular South Devon Coast while staying in a luxurious and elegant setting.
