Long Acre lodge is a homely property, and would appeal to those seeking a quiet retreat, with good access to local beaches and coastal towns. This comfy lodge has an open plan living area, consisting of a well-equipped spacious kitchen with dining area and sitting area. There are patio doors, which lead to a large veranda. There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom with a large double walk in shower. Outside the lodge is a wooden veranda where you can relax with a refreshing drink and make use of the charcoal BBQ provided.
The spectacular Hartland Quay, and world-renowned cliff side village of Clovelly, are close by and the dramatic coastline is a short drive away. Take a trip to the local beaches at Sandymouth Bay and the major surfing beaches at Bude and Westward Ho!, which are all easily reached from this lovely property.
The site has a peaceful, rural atmosphere, but is well connected, with direct access from the A39 Atlantic Highway. It’s a five-minute walk to the village shop if you need to pick up groceries. Beach 8½ miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub 7 miles and restaurant 2 miles.

Hartland

On the North Devon Coast, Hartland is the most north-westerly town in the county. Dating back over 1000 years, the area is timeless and unspoilt with wild and beautiful countryside and some of the most stunning coastal views found anywhere in Britain. The village itself has plenty to offer including several independent shops, places to eat out and a rich history to discover. There are plenty of events throughout the year as well as markets and festivals. Places to visit in the area include Hartland Abbey dating back to 1157, Hartland Point for spectacular views, Welcombe Mouth Beach and Docton Mill Gardens and Tea Room.
