The perfect destination for countryside lovers yet all the convenience of a town with a great range of shops and a large choice of pubs, cafes, restaurants and tea rooms. In addition, the town has a cinema, theatre and a leisure pool. The walking and cycling here are excellent as you would imagine but take time to visit several National Trust properties and gardens nearby or take part in game fishing which the river is renowned for.
