This outstanding renovated annexe is located just outside the little village of Umberleigh. Set on one level this modern property provides high quality and romantic accommodation for two in Devon. Entering through the patio doors into the atrium, where a complimentary welcome hamper awaits you, into a wonderfully spacious interior, decorated in creamy hues with elegant furnishings and wood flooring to create a calming and tranquil abode that you will be reluctant to leave. There is a telescope to be found in the atrium with a door leading to a cloakroom. Two steps down to the open plan living room, with 32" TV, and dining room which has enough space to entertain six if required. The kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped with electric range cooker on which to cook tasty meals and one step down takes you into the utility room. The bedroom contains a king-size pocket sprung bed, dressed in the finest Egyptian cotton linens and leads into the en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, basin, WC and tiled flooring. Umberleigh
Umberleigh is a small village by the River Taw. The villages of Warkleigh, Chittlehampton, High Bickington and Atherington are all within 10 minutes drive and the town of Barnstaple is 6 miles away. There are plenty of riverside walks to explore and the Tarkka train line runs through here on the way to Barnstaple and Exeter which offers fantastic views along the way. Visit the Cobbaton Combat Collection, a military museum that has 50 vehicles and exhibits from the Boer War to the Gulf War. Umberleigh has access to a lot of great fishing, being so close to the River Taw. The village has a convenience store and a pub. For those involved with the National Trust, Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum, 10 miles away, is one to visit with 20 miles of footpaths to discover. Marwood Hill Gardens, RHS Garden Rosemoor and Castle Hill Gardens are within 10 miles of Umberleigh.
