Resting on the coast in Hele Bay, Devon is the fantastic, detached cottage of Lilac Cottage. Set within easy reach of the beach, and enjoying its own, outdoor hot tub, Lilac Cottage is the perfect base for a family of five's seaside break.
After parking in one of two sought-after off-road parking spaces, head inside to find a charming sitting room, where you can lounge of the leather seating after a day at the beach; switch on the TV for some entertainment. Progress to the kitchen, where you will find, high-gloss red finishes and a fantastic selection of appliances that will please any budding chef. Fix up a culinary delight and enjoy it at the dining table with your loved ones, be sure to crack open a bottle of wine and toast to this marvellous, coastal escape!
After dinner, head out to the back garden, where you can unwind on the decking as you catch up on your beachside escapes, or soak up in the hot tub; the garden also hosts a barbecue, so you can have friends over for an alfresco meal. When night falls, freshen up in the ground-floor cloakroom, or upstairs in the fabulous bathroom, where a p-shaped bath and shower over await. The first floor also hosts three well-appointed bedrooms, with one being a lovely king-size, along with a single and twin room that are ideal for extra friends or the kids.

A leisurely stroll will bring you to Ilfracombe, where you can spend the day exploring Ilfracombe Museum, Ilfracombe Harbour and unwinding on one of the many stunning coves surrounding the town; why not embark on a walk through Capstone Hill, where panoramic views of the sea can be admired.

Ilfracombe is a picturesque harbour town on the North Devon coast with a reputation as being the culinary and cultural hub of the area. With the 20m high Damien Hirst sculpture Verity overlooking the water (Ilfracombe is Hirst's home town) and a collection of local galleries featuring both local and international artists.
