For a famous Devonshire Cream Tea you need travel no further than the top of the hill to Royal Oak Farm, which also has local produce and pick your own fruit. Within the village of Stockland there are a variety of walks and a church which has regular services should you wish to attend. Nearby is the small and friendly village of Dalwood, it benefits from a rustic pub serving food as well as an award-winning general store. Tremendous walking and cycling can be enjoyed throughout the Blackdown Hills, while on the fringes there are two fabulous market towns, namely Honiton and Axminster, which both host lovely buildings and a superb choice of amenities to make the most of, they also both offer an interesting local museum.
