The living/dining room has a dining table for two guests, along with a wood-burning stove and TV/DVD, and leads off to a conservatory with seating. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, however, smoking is not permitted. Guests have off-road parking for one car, access to a private garden and the owner’s grounds. For essentials, a shop and pub can both be found within half a mile. Please note, this property does not have central heating, the head height in the en-suite is low, and check-in from 5pm and check-out by 10am. Kingfisher Cottage is a wonderful escape for couples all year round.

Kingfisher Cottage is a colourful annexe resting in the quaint village of Bradworthy, Devon. This annexe is the perfect blend of peaceful relaxation and vibrant energy, with a playful colour scheme; it's a great place for couples to come and unwind after a busy day, with pretty views of the garden and the owners’ surrounding grounds.

Entering the property, leave your coats and shoes in the hall, before getting settled in your home from home. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed, and includes a two-ring hob, a combi oven/microwave, a fridge/freezer, while the living/dining room that is perfect for relaxing in, with a sofa, a toasty woodburning stove, and a TV with DVD. The dining room has a dining table for two and the conservatory hosts a table and chairs to enjoy coffee in the morning sunshine.

Upstairs, the bedroom has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom and plenty of storage, providing a space to rest your head after a day of exploring. When you wake, enjoy a moment of peace, before setting off to discover the area.

Set off on foot with your canine companion to the nearby lake, or venture into Bradworthy, a small, quiet village; it is known for its charming atmosphere and the Bradworthy Inn, a local restaurant and bar.

Reachable by car is the popular town of Bude in Cornwall, where you can spend the day at Summerleaze Beach, with coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding, cycling on offer nearby, this property is an ideal base for a fun-filled break at any time of year.

Attractions with a slightly slower pace include the sights of RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Docton Mill and Hartland Quay, which are all just a short drive away.

Slightly further afield are the pretty fishing villages of Clovelly, Instow and Appledore.

Dating back to 700AD, the village of Bradworthy has a rich history with a large village square surrounded by cottages. The village has a number of stores, post office, garage and the ill important pub, The Bradworthy Inn, dating to the 16th century with a beer garden and a coffee shop as well as a restaurant serving local produce and real ales. Perfectly located to explore North Devon, the Tamar Lakes are just 3 miles away where you can try out some water sports or a spot of relaxing fishing. The coast is a short drive away with Bude being a popular choice with a large expanse of sand, the famous Bude sea pool, rockpooling and renowned for the surf. Close by you can visit the Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden, try archery at the Dragon Archery Centre or visit Lizzy's Larder for a bite to eat, a farm shop and some friendly animals.
