Enjoy a day marvelling at the stunning country house of Ford Abbey House & Gardens in Chard where a garden centre offers you the chance to bring home some beautiful perennials, or for some ancient history go to Lambert's and Coney's Castle, National Trust owned, Iron Age hill forts dating back 2,500-years, with evidence of fairs held here in the 1700s and a horse-racing track. Enjoy days on the stunning Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis, with the Lyme Regis Museum and Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium perfect for rainy days, while four lovely beaches offer great spots to soak in the sun or take relaxing strolls by the waters. Follow The coast path from Seaton to the lovely villages of Branscombe and Beer. Stop a while and enjoy a pint or Devon Cream Tea. Discover the many walks found locally.
