The friendly village of Harbertonford is set amongst Devon’s beautiful rolling countryside, and it boasts a thriving village shop.   For those who can tear themselves away from the sunny garden, the village is well placed for exploring South Devon’s many areas of interest as well as the stunning Dartmoor National Park.  The cottage is just 3 miles from the bustling riverside mediaeval town of Totnes which is famed for its unique selection of boutiques, pubs and cafes where several days of exploring can be easily whiled away.  Alternatively, head for the coast with Dartmouth’s glistening waters being just 20 minutes’ drive away as are popular beaches and coastline at Blackpool Sands and Slapton.

Ground floor: Light dual aspect sitting room with feature stone fireplace inset with a wood-burning stove, two large sofas, smart TV with Freeview Sky channels and Blue-ray DVD. Amazing open plan dining kitchen room. Dining area with feature antique range (not in use) and table to comfortably seat 6. Large kitchen with modern units and Rangemaster double range oven with five gas ring hob, microwave, two fridge drawers, dishwasher and island unit with breakfast bar stools. Separate utility cupboard with a washer dryer and fridge freezer. Full width bi-fold doors open into the garden. Cloakroom with WC and washbasin. First floor: Spacious master bedroom with king-sized bed, wardrobe and two chest of drawers. Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Single bedroom with 3ft single bed with built in under bed drawers and hanging hooks. Modern family bathroom with rectangular bath with rain shower fitting over, handheld shower attachment, washbasin and WC.

Outside:

Gates from the parking area open into a sunny enclosed walled garden with a barbecue. A large paved terrace with table, chairs and parasol is perfect for al fresco dining. Inset feature lighting ensures that this terrace can be enjoyed in the evening. To one side steps rise into the kitchen dining room, and to the other side a few steps lead down to a grassed garden area which is bordered by mature shrubs.
