Or enjoy the splendour of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Other attractions include The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Cobbaton Combat Museum. For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities why not hire bikes or take a ride on part of the pretty Tarka Train Line providing easy access to both Barnstaple and Exeter.

On stepping into the property, you immediately notice the spaciousness, with the high ceilings and exposed beams to add to that feeling of space. Stepping outside there is a private patio and plenty of open lawn area to enjoy or wander over to the shared BBQ area with a climbing tree, scramble net, tree swings, climbing rope, fire pit and hammock, where you can relax on the garden furniture. A walk across the meadow is a fenced wildlife pond with cosy shelter. Please note children must be accompanied. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Chulmleigh

Chulmleigh is a pretty, small, Saxon hilltop market town dotted with thatched and cob cottages. The towns of High Bickington and South Molton are both 17 minutes away and the village of Chawleigh is 6 minutes away by car for your local provisions. The Little Dart runs through Chulmleigh, leading to the Valley Walk and Two Moores Way which make up some of the 180-mile Tarkka Trail and making this very popular for walkers. The ancient woodland in Eggedford woods is popular with horticulturalists as unusual plants and trees grow here. The Tarkka train Line can be picked up from Eggesford and runs to Barnstaple. Chulmleigh has open playing fields which are dog friendly. There is also an adventure playground for the children to explore.
