Description
A short stroll takes you to the beautiful 2 miles of golden sands, great for those who enjoy the sun and surf, and from here you can also enjoy some spectacular cliff-top walking along the South West Coast Path. The town of Westward Ho! itself also offers an array of amenities including a championship golf course, tennis courts and a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Bideford (3.5 miles) provides a pannier market and from its pretty quayside, you can enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous MS Oldenburg. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include the picture-postcard fishing villages of Appledore (3 miles) and Clovelly (12 miles), Instow (5 miles), Hartland Abbey (15.5 miles) and Quay (17 miles), Tapeley Park (4.5 miles), The Big Sheep (2.5 miles), The Milky Way (10 miles), RHS Rosemoor ( 11 miles) and Dartington Crystal (10 miles).
The contemporary apartment is accessed via a standard internal staircase but once in the apartment, it is all on one level. The spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is light and bright. The Smart TV and comfortable sofas allow for cosy nights in, whilst the kitchen/diner area is well-equipped and has everything you will need to cook a three-course meal or just a light snack with an electric oven and hob, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee maker and fridge/freezer. Walking back through the hallway there are two bedrooms: one king-size, which teases you with side views of the nearby ocean, and one twin room. The bathroom completes the accommodation and has a shower over the bath and WC.
There is no outside space, but the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park and children’s play park area are all within a short walk. A pay and display car park and roadside parking are available nearby.

Westward Ho!
Westward Ho! is a pretty coastal village. The seafront is a very popular spot for surfers and a variety of water sports. There are lifeguards on patrol on the beach in the summer making it feel very safe and secure for families. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness. Dogs are welcomed on the beach all year. During the summer there are signs directing you to which area of the beach are dog friendly. The village is surrounded by cliffs and an estuary. There are lots of nature trails and paths leading to neighbouring towns such as Bideford. For the adventurers, The Ultimate Adventure Centre in Bideford, fun for all the family. The Pebble Ridge Adventure Golf and Go Karts are worth a visit. The village has a few gift shops, a local store and a pharmacy. The village is also home to a few surfing and water sports shops. There are 3 pubs in Westward Ho! The local town of Bideford is 10 minutes by car. Further on is Barnstaple which is 21 minutes away.
