Westward Ho! is a seaside village which boasts a 2-mile expanse of sandy beach and has a range of amenities including a golf course and tennis courts, independent shops, pubs and restaurants, making this an ideal location for a beach holiday. Enjoy some spectacular cliff-top walks on the South West Coast Path or visit local villages with Appledore and Instow being within 5 miles and ancient Clovelly 12 miles. The market town of Bideford (3.5 miles) boasts an array of independent shops and galleries, and from here you can hop on the famous Oldenburg and enjoy a trip to Lundy. Spend a day at one of the many attractions including Hartland Abbey and Quay, Tapeley Park, The Milky Way and RHS Rosemoor all within 20 miles.
Step inside the front door, which is accessed on the ground floor, and take the stairs up to the first-floor accommodation. You’ll be welcomed into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV – this is a great space to relax after a day of exploring. The dining table is the perfect place to enjoy mealtimes and watch the sea or as the night draws in, watch the fabulous sunsets. The kitchen area is well equipped to cater for every need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble drier. There is a bright bathroom with a P-shaped bath with a shower over and WC. The bedrooms have been designed in a contemporary style. Firstly, there is a generously proportioned king-size bedroom whilst the second bedroom is a compact children’s bunk room with 2’6” beds.

Westward Ho!
Westward Ho! is a pretty coastal village. The seafront is a very popular spot for surfers and a variety of water sports. There are lifeguards on patrol on the beach in the summer making it feel very safe and secure for families. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness. Dogs are welcomed on the beach all year. During the summer there are signs directing you to which area of the beach are dog friendly. The village is surrounded by cliffs and an estuary. There are lots of nature trails and paths leading to neighbouring towns such as Bideford. For the adventurers, The Ultimate Adventure Centre in Bideford, fun for all the family. The Pebble Ridge Adventure Golf and Go Karts are worth a visit. The village has a few gift shops, a local store and a pharmacy. The village is also home to a few surfing and water sports shops. There are 3 pubs in Westward Ho! The local town of Bideford is 10 minutes by car. Further on is Barnstaple which is 21 minutes away.
