The picturesque village of Slapton boasts two excellent pubs, a community village shop, play park and some stunning walks around the freshwater nature reserve of Slapton Ley. The millennium field at the top of the village is a fantastic viewpoint for gazing out over the village to Start Bay and the the lighthouse at Start Point. The village is situated less than a mile from Slapton Sands, which borders part of the scenic coastal road running between the bustling market town of Kingsbridge and the historic town of Dartmouth both twenty minutes away. The bohemian hub of Totnes is also a 30 minute drive as is the hugely popular sailing town of Salcombe. This traditional village is a superb spot to explore the South West Coast Path and all the delights the South Hams has to offer.

From the dining area, door into living room large 3 seater corner sofa, TV, open fire, love seat, 2 seater sofa and additional chair. Door into sun room, table and seating for 2, doors to garden. From kitchen/diner stairs lead up to the first floor, Master bedroom 5’ bed, Double bedroom 4’6 bed. Bunk bedroom bottom bed 4’, top bed 3’. bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.

Outside:

Front garden mainly lawn with 2 terrace area, benches, Outdoor table and chairs and a heatproof table for guests to place their own disposable barbecues. To the rear, passageway with lockable storage for bikes and watersports equipment, outdoor tap.

Parking:

Unload on the lane at the end of the terrace of cottages, parking is on street in the village where available and legal or at the village car park half a mile away.

Slapton

Slapton is a small picturesque village lying between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The village is half a mile from Slapton Sands. The village has 2 pubs and a village store. Slapton Ley Nature Reserve attracts visitors from all over the world. Slapton Sands beach was taken over in 1943 to use as a rehearsal area for the D-Day landings. It is a large shingle beach, very dog friendly and backed by a sea wall with lifeguards in the summer and a cafe. Woodlands Family Theme Park in Dartmouth 30 minutes away is a great family day out. Also in Dartmouth is Fast Rabbit Farm Gardens.
