Situated in the traditional fishing village of Appledore with views of the Torridge Estuary from the top floor and living area, this property is within walking distance of its quintessential quayside and selection of shops, galleries, family pubs and Maritime Museum. Beyond Appledore itself, the North Devon coastline is lined with quaint fishing villages, sheltered coves and the golden sandy beaches of Westward Ho and Instow providing countless destinations for great days out. Other nearby popular attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor and the Royal North Devon Golf Course.

The stylish accommodation is accessed via the second floor of this coastal townhouse and offers open-plan living filled with nautical touches and plenty of natural light. On the entrance level, there is one king-size bedroom, one bunk bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Most of your time will be spent on the first floor where the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is located. The contemporary kitchen area contains an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, together with a good-sized dining table. The lounge area beyond is light and airy and features a TV/DVD. On the ground floor, the master king-size bedroom can be made into a twin on request and enjoys an en-suite with a walk-in shower and doors leading onto the enclosed patio area, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. Also, on the ground floor is a utility room, which houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. During your stay, enjoy al fresco meals on the enclosed patio area at the rear of the property where you will find garden furniture and a BBQ. There is a selection of DVDs and board games as well as some beach toys and a crabbing net which guests may borrow.

Appledore is a small fishing village in North Devon. The village celebrates its local artists. The village is full of narrow streets, many of them cobbled. Here you that will find a lot of arts and crafts shops showcasing their work. A variety of pubs and restaurants offer a large range of local seafood. The village is has a privately owned shipyard that employs a lot of the locals. The quay is often occupied by local shipping vessels and yachts. Cruises are available to go up and down the estuary. A ferry takes passengers to the pretty village of Instow which has a sheltered Sandy beach and pier. A short walk away, along the river is Bideford Bay and Westward Ho. The nearest town is Barnstaple 21 minutes away.
