Make your way into this stunning abode and into the well-equipped kitchen, fitted with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, decorated to a contemporary standard with marble countertops accompanied by a handy breakfast bar. Spend an evening gathered around the intimate dining table, enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal over a refreshing bottle of wine, before unwinding on one of the plush blue sofas and being entertained by the large Smart TV. Downstairs, you'll also find a convenient cloakroom situated next to the Breakfast bar.

The rear of the property benefits from secluded outside space, a modest suntrap, perfect for your furry friends to run around, where you can down alfresco in the summer months, or store any sporting equipment you've brought along including bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards. Retire upstairs to one of the two nicely-decorated bedrooms, the king-size benefits from a large wall-mounted TV and picturesque views out to the River Dart whereas the twin room can be transformed into a super-king-size on request! Wake up to either an invigorating morning shower before a jam-packed day, or indulge in a peaceful bubble bath on a lazy Sunday in the family bathroom, letting a warm towel from the heated rail hug you as you exit.

Right next to the property is Stoke Gabriel Stores and Post Office where you can stock up on fresh meat, fruit, veg and bakery products, as well as local crafts, gifts and artwork from the Country Gallery before making your way over to one of the country pubs for a refreshing pint, or take a break from cooking at one of the many village restaurants. Stroll down to the serene River Dart, a stunning location with calm waters and local wildlife, trying your luck at the variety of watersports activities including kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding. Alternatively, take the kids over to Mill Hill Pond, grabbing a crabbing line and bucket to catch some crabs as part of a local pastime, or relax at The River Shack café for an afternoon treat, or a morning coffee.

Venture over to the quaint towns of Totnes and Dartmouth, home to a variety of fine eateries, art galleries, and historic attractions, or visit Torquay for an evening of theatre. Stoke Gabriel is a pretty village by the River Dart. The village has a shop, a post office, a cafe and the choice of two pubs. The towns of Brixham and Paignton are near and the village is set in the rolling hills of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are a range of walks to explore along the river, on a low tide, walk along the shoreline to Duncannon Beach, or venture into the woods and explore. Have lunch at the waterside cafe and then try a spot of crabbing. Let the children enjoy the community orchard and playpark. Further afield, enjoy a great day out at Paignton Zoo or Splashdown Quaywest.
