There is a dining area for up to four people and a fitted kitchen. The contemporary kitchen has sleek, black worktops with contrasting white cabinets, housing all equipment you could possibly need during your stay. Upstairs offers a selection of sleeping arrangements, including a double and twin bedroom, ideal for friends and families. There is a separate family shower room and WC. The famous seaside town of Torquay is an excellent location to visit, with a number of tourist destinations. Babbacombe is a district within Torquay and has several beaches, theaters and cliffs available to use. For a day trip as a family, why not venture towards Living Coasts, a coastal zoo owned by South West Environmental Parks. Let's not forget about Torre Abbey, a historic building and art gallery. It was founded in 1196 as a monastery for Premonstratensian canons, and is now the best-preserved medieval monastery in Devon and Cornwall. Also nearby is Kents Cavern, a cave system which is most notable for its archaeological and geological features. It has been open to the public and was named a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest since 1952. Agatha Christie was born here the Inernational Agatha Christie Festival is held annually and you can walk the Agatha Christie mile to discover some of the murder scenes from her books. Take the steam train to Kingswear and enjoy a trip along the River Dart.

Plenty of activities available on the calm waters of Tor Bay including sailing dinghies, yachts and motorboats with sea schools available for those looking to take a structured course. There are plenty of beaches nearby, you will be spoilt for choice. The choice of cuisine is huge, including Michelin starred restaurants and tastes from around the world to tea rooms and cafes and pubs. A vibrant evening scene gives you choices of theatre, concerts, plays, musicals, comedy and ballet. In summer open-air theatres play at Cockington Country Park and various National Trust properties nearby.
