From the ground floor, three flights of stairs take you to the property, where an open plan lounge / dining room has a comfortable sofa, armchairs, dining table and chairs, TV with Freeview and a DVD player. A bay window has a window seat and provides a partial view of the River Dart. At the other end of this open plan area is a modern, well equipped kitchen. The main bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage whilst the second bedroom has a double bed and similar storage space. The bathroom suite compromises of a bath with electric shower (over), wash basin and w.c. There is also a cloakroom with w.c and a hand basin. Ideal for a relaxing break, guests can use the luxury facilities at the Dart Marina Health Spa including indoor pool, steam room, and gym. A parking permit is provided for the nearby Mayors Avenue long-stay car park for one car (subject to available spaces), offering guests easy access to beautiful Start Bay and the popular beach at Blackpool Sands, just a short drive away.

Relax on the sandy Blue Flag awarded Blackpool Sands Beach, one of the most popular family beaches in the area or if feeling more energetic use the beach as a base for a walk as the beach is directly on the South West Coast Path.

Visit Dartmouth Castle, superbly located in the mouth of the estuary with wonderful views from the top tower and has been guarding the area since 1388. Explore Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie now run by the National Trust. Nearby Woodlands theme park boasts the largest watercoasters in Devon, a farm with all the family favourites including meerkats, all set within beautiful grounds of 100 acres. Take a trip on one of the many ferries and head out for a day to explore nearby Salcombe, Torquay or Totnes or stay on land and explore the English Riviera on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
