Upon entering you will arrive at an open plan living area, home to comfortable sofas, where you can rest in front of the feature fireplace morning through to evening. The kitchen boasts white units to compliment the black countertops for a classic finish, with a dining table tucked in the corner, with seating for up to four people. Doors open out to the enclosed patio area, ideal for socialising on a nice afternoon, perhaps with a refreshing drink or a good book. On the ground floor you will also find a family bathroom and a separate cloakroom offering space to store your belongings. Take the stairs up to the two bedrooms; a double and a twin, both boasting patterned décor and pretty bedding. From long sandy beaches and a picturesque harbour, the town of Paignton hosts a wonderful selection of shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants. The town makes a fantastic base from which to explore the English Riviera and its surrounding attractions. The nearby coastline offers walking and cycling opportunities along beautiful stretches of beach and rugged cliff tops. A lovely cottage in a charming location.
Paignton lies on Devon's South Coast and is part of the English Riviera. The first thing that will strike you is the long sandy beach which has safe swimming, the famous pier, perfect sand for sandcastles, fishing trips and plenty of kiosks and cafes. Paignton Zoo has some of the world's most rare and amazing creatures from gorillas and rhinos to capybara. Visit the crocodile swamp and come face-to-face with a crocodile or snake. The historic harbour area is now full of restaurants and cafes that specialise in fresh fish dishes. Explore the area on the steam train that runs for 7 miles to Kingswear or combine it with a cruise and explore the River Dart at the same time. With a boating lake, Geoplay Park, Occombe Farm, the Velopark, Paignton Festival, Paignton Regatta and the English Riviera Air Show there is always something to do or see.
