Chapel House is a delightful holiday cottage full of original features. A short walk from central Dartmouth and its array of boutiques, galleries, restaurants and tea rooms, Chapel House is the perfect place for a family looking for easy access to the town. The River Dart is just a minutes’ walk away offering boat trips and other waterborne activities, whilst Blackpool Sands beach is just a 5-10-minute drive away.

The River Dart is just a minutes’ walk away offering boat trips and other waterborne activities, whilst Blackpool Sands beach is just a 5-10-minute drive away. Woodlands Theme Park and Dartmouth Golf and Country Club are just 3 miles outside of Dartmouth. The main entrance, straight from Clarence Street leads into a spacious lobby, and then up two steps into the light and spacious main living accommodation. This has a comfy sitting area with ample seating, TV and DVD player and feature fireplace (not in use). The dining area has a long wooden dining table which comfortably seats up to seven guests. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, with, four ring induction hob. There are also French doors leading out onto a narrow balcony, which looks over the garden. There are four bedrooms in total. On the first floor, there is one large double bedroom with a King-size bed which looks over the garden. There is another smaller double bedroom looking to the front of the property and a spacious single bedroom. A family shower room is also on this floor, with cubicle shower, w.c. and wash hand basin. The remaining bedroom is on the lower ground floor level which is accessed via a flight of stairs from the living area. This has a king-size bed, original stone flooring and small French door (height approximately 1.25m) which leads out onto the external steps to the garden area. Also, on this floor is a bathroom room with large cubicle shower w.c and wash hand basin. At the bottom of the external wooden stairs, there is a courtyard garden with various plants, shrubs and a gravelled terrace area. Garden table and chairs are available. An annual parking pass for one car is provided for the Mayors Avenue public car park/Dartmouth Park and Ride.

Situated on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, Dartmouth is a beautiful harbour town in South Devon, a perfect destination for all year round short breaks and holidays. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Dartmouth provides stunning countryside surroundings with the coast within very close proximity making this area one of the most popular for visitors to Devon. The beautiful estuary and the coast are home to many watersports such as sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding or why not try surfing at one of the nearby surf schools. Relax on the sandy Blue Flag awarded Blackpool Sands Beach, one of the most popular family beaches in the area or if feeling more energetic use the beach as a base for a walk as the beach is directly on the South West Coast Path.
Visit Dartmouth Castle, superbly located in the mouth of the estuary with wonderful views from the top tower and has been guarding the area since 1388. Explore Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie now run by the National Trust. Nearby Woodlands theme park boasts the largest watercoasters in Devon, a farm with all the family favourites including meerkats, all set within beautiful grounds of 100 acres. Take a trip on one of the many ferries and head out for a day to explore nearby Salcombe, Torquay or Totnes or stay on land and explore the English Riviera on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
