Tucked below the beautiful Haldon Forest; a haven for walkers, cyclists and wildlife the cottages at Magnolia Gardens offer wonderful rural retreats yet are easily accessible from the A380 which connects Exeter and Torquay. Ideally suited to groups of friends or families, this accommodation caters to a variety of group needs, there's no better choice for your escape to Devon. All of the cottages offer a homely and traditional interior, with woodburning stoves in three of the cottage offering an added warmth in the winter months, while their private gardens offer the perfect spot for alfresco dining and social gatherings in the summer, with all of 18 acres of beautiful grounds to explore too! Dawlish is a traditional seaside town on the South Devon Coast with a wonderful golden sandy beach that is perfect for sandcastles. With rockpooling, a children's play area, amusements, boat hire and a pier you will not be short of things to do, find and see. Further beaches to explore can be found close by at Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren, both different in their own way. Dawlish is home to the famous black swans who have lived in the area since the late 1940s and can be seen swimming in The Brook. The town has a good variety of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes so if you wanted to ditch the car for the week you can. The area is great for both walks and cycling with the Dawlish to Exmouth trail offering 20 miles of stunning coastal scenery or join the South West Coast Path for equally stunning walks.
