Boshill House is a large, entertaining house set in a quiet backdrop overlooking the beautiful Axe Valley.
This spacious and comfortable detached house enjoys a spectacular setting, overlooking the beautiful Axe valley, just a short drive west of Lyme Regis. Perfect for large family get-togethers the house has six bedrooms, three with en suite facilities, as well as a family bathroom. Additionally the ground floor bedroom is served by a separate shower room, a good option for those with limited mobility. Picture windows from most of the bedrooms, and the ground floor living rooms, take advantage of the stunning views. The comfortable lounge enjoys views over the garden and the adjoining dining room (which comfortably accommodates 14 guests sitting down to dine together) has patio doors that open onto the large landscaped garden and sun terrace. A well equipped kitchen, including a range cooker, will allow larger groups to cater for themselves in comfort. A couple of the larger bedrooms include comfortable sitting areas with TVs so there is plenty of opportunity for those of all ages to enjoy some private space.
The house is located close to the stunning Jurassic coast, just 5 miles west of Lyme Regis and close to the pretty little village of Axmouth on the Axe estuary. From its elevated position overlooking the valley the house enjoys magnificent open views. The coast is less than 2 miles away and the whole area is a haven for walkers with local laneways and footpaths. There are a selection of good local pubs within a mile of the house, in the villages of Colyford and Axmouth. Lyme Regis is a very short drive to the east and Sidmouth around 10 miles to the west. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall`s River Cottage shop and restaurant are only a few minutes drive away in the East Devon market town of Axminster.

First floor: Bedroom 2 (22ft x 19ft) with king size bed plus a single bed and sitting area with TV, en suite with shower cubicle and w.c. Bedroom 3 (12ft x 9ft) with double bed. Bedroom 4 (19ft x 13ft) with king size bed and en suite with shower cubicle and w.c. Bedroom 5 (20ft x 15ft) with king size bed and 2 single beds. Central heating included. Bed linen included and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels if required. One full size cot and two travel cots are provided. Two highchairs provided. Wi-fi access included. Regret no pets although a small well behaved non-shedding dog may be considered during the low season.

A £200.00 refundable security deposit is required, our office will contact you to collect the payment of your security deposit 6 weeks before your arrival date. Please note that there is a covered pool in the garden which is not in use and surrounded by 4ft railings for safety.

Colyford is a small but picturesque village near the towns of Seaton and Axminster. It has a shop, cafe, post office and a pub offering home-cooked food and local ales. The peace and tranquillity of the village make this a great base to stay, whilst exploring the nearby bustling towns. Visit one of the West Country's best-loved tourist attractions, Pecorama. Set in 9 acres of stunning scenery, explore the many gardens and adventure playgrounds. Take a train ride on the Beer Heights light railway and see the model railway displays. After all this exploring, relax on the hillside with a picnic from the railway cafe. Visit Beer Quarry Caves, take a tour and learn about the ghost. Enjoy a day out at East Devon's hidden gem, Axe Valley Wildlife Park, you may even be lucky enough to spot the Arctic Fox. There are playgrounds for children to explore and areas to eat or picnic and soak up the atmosphere. Explore the cobbled streets of Seaton. Walk along the shingle beach and explore the boardwalks of Seatons own Nature Reserves at Seaton Wetlands.
