Boathouse Cottage is a cosy and quirky seaside property built into the cliff, just yards from the beach at one end of Slapton Sands (a 3-mile stretch of golden coastline), in the historic village of Torcross. The property has two bedrooms (one double on the ground floor, one twin on the first floor which can be made up as a King-size bed if required), plus one family ground floor shower room. There is also a fabulous open plan living area with a lovely picture window boasting stunning views out to sea. At the very front of the cottage is a small area for table and chairs, plus limited free parking bays nearby. With the beach just yards away, this is fabulous accommodation for those looking for a seaside getaway.
Boathouse Cottage is a cosy and quirky seaside property built into the cliff, just yards from the beach at one end of Slapton Sands (a 3-mile stretch of golden coastline). Situated in Torcross, the property is a traditional Devon village on the Start Bay coastline with an intriguing history and unspoilt shingle beach. The village has a popular pub, post office/store and cafes (all within easy walking distance). The market town of Kingsbridge is within a 15-minute drive whilst the beautiful sandy beaches of Salcombe and East Portlemouth are approximately seven miles away. Offering superb, dual aspect views across the beach and out to sea from the first floor living accommodation, the property has been skillfully extended into the rockface and is presented to a very good standard throughout. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with sea views, and a family shower room, with large shower cubicle, whilst on the first floor is a light and sunny open-plan kitchen/sitting/dining room with large picture window and stunning views. Also on the first floor is a smaller twin bedroom with two small single beds (the beds can be linked on request to create a King-size double), and en suite cloakroom with W.C. Outside, at the very front of the cottage is a small area for a table and chairs. Loading and unloading is permitted outside the cottage and there are also limited free parking bays nearby. With the coast path on the doorstep, and the beach just yards away, this is fabulous accommodation for those looking for a seaside getaway.

Torcross is a popular village in the South Hams in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on the southern edge of Slapton Sands, the beach extends for 3 miles all the way to Strete on the northern end, is dog-friendly and has lifeguards during the summer. A bar divides the sea from Slapton Ley, the largest natural lake in south-west England and a National Nature Reserve that you must visit when staying in the area. Plenty of places to eat out with many enjoying the sea views. Directly on the South West Coast Path, it is excellent for walking with wonderful coastal views. This is the perfect location for the family beach holiday.
