Blue Shores is a sumptuous and spacious, reverse-level detached holiday home situated a short walk away from the centre of Thurlestone village, its fabulous village pub and glorious sandy beaches. The exterior belies the size and luxury of the interior, this is a superb property which has been recently fully refurbished to a high standard with the added benefit of a first-floor full-width living room and balcony which takes in the full view over Thurlestone Rock. For rainy days there is a playroom with table football, dart board, and even a surfboard rack. From most rooms, there are sea views across to Bolt Tail headland and Thurlestone bay.

Bedroom 2 with 3ft Twin beds (which join to form a super-king if required – please advise at time of booking if required as a double).

Stairs to the first floor: Beautiful kitchen with twin ovens and induction hob, fridge freezer plus a separate drinks fridge, dishwasher, microwave/3rd oven, BlueTooth speaker.
Dining area with table to seat up to 10, opening into the lounge area with large corner sofa, ornamental fireplace (not for use) Smart TV and full-width wide balcony with outside seating and wonderful sea views.
Snug with large Smart TV and sofa bed, books and games.

Bedroom 3 with 5ft King Size bed, wardrobes and chest of drawers, beautiful walk-in shower room with rainfall shower, basin and WC.
Bedroom 4 with 6ft Superking size bed (which can be split to form a twin room if required – please advise at time of booking if required as a twin). Hanging rail, chest of drawers, en suite shower room with walk-in shower room with rainfall shower, basin and WC.


Large lawn surrounds the property with an enclosed gated area to the rear and a fully enclosed front garden with fencing and a gate which will help ensure the garden is secure for dogs and children.
Garden furniture is provided and there are plenty of lovely spots to sit and enjoy the gardens and views, complete with charcoal barbecue (strictly not to be used on the balcony), outside shower and a very useful wetsuit rack.


Parking for two cars on private driveway. Electric vehicle charging possible via the mains socket in the property. £20 charge per week. Please contact Toad Hall should you require this facility.

Thurlestone is an increasingly popular holiday destination located in the South Hams area of Devon. Just 5 miles from Kingsbridge, the coastal village has one of the most dramatic coastlines along the South Devon Coast with the impressive Thurlestone Rock, an arch-shaped rock just off the main beach which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Made up of two beaches, both beaches are sandy, sheltered and the waters are shallow enough to allow children to have a safe paddle in. This is the perfect location if you are looking for a beautiful sandy beach, stunning countryside without the crowds that some of the other South Devon beaches attract. The beach is pet-friendly all year round, has won an award from the Marine Conservation Society thanks to its clean waters and has lifeguards between May and September.

Walk along the coast a short way and you will find South Milton which has a beachside cafe and plenty of water sports to try. Many of our Thurlestone holiday cottages are just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and have sea views. We can cater from romantic breaks for two to accommodating large families or groups of friends. This is a special area to visit and relax in.
