Four superb holiday apartments situated in the owners' fine Grade II listed detached house, and a detached cottage located within delightful hillside gardens, in the town of Lynton within the Exmoor National Park in Devon. The hillside location affords glorious sea views from the terraces and from most of the rooms, each apartment has its own private entrance off the elegant hallway, and all have been beautifully furnished throughout to provide a warm and cosy home from home. The garden terrace area has plenty of seating overlooking the sea and is a relaxing spot to spend time planning the day’s outing, or why not unwind with your loved ones and a cold drink after a day out and about? With private off-road parking available below the hillside gardens and just a short stroll to the nearest shops and pubs, you could easily leave the car parked for a few days in order to explore the area on foot. Take a ride on the water operated cliff railway to the charming harbour at Lynmouth, where the views en-route are truly breathtaking. Also, you may wish to walk to the spectacular setting of the Valley of Rocks, which is about a mile walk from Lynton or enjoy a stroll along the East Lyn River valley, one of Britain's deepest river gorges, to Watersmeet where there is a National Trust owned tea room and visitor centre. These four beautiful apartments and the cottage provide a friendly welcome to guests who will surely want to return.

Lynton is a small coastal town in North Devon within Exmoor National Park really giving you the best of both countryside and coast all in one location. Sometimes known as Little Switzerland, the town has a selection of shops, tea rooms, pubs and cafés. The Lyn and Exmoor Museum is full of local history and the steep Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway is a must-visit. The Valley of the Rocks is just one mile from Lynton and is unlike any other valley you will see on the north coast, created during the ice age and marvelled at by visitors ever since. There are numerous walks in the area, as you would expect, with every turn revealing more stunning countryside, coastal views, waterfalls or wildlife including red deer and wild ponies.
