Armorel House is a tastefully designed and well-presented property offering spacious high-quality accommodation over three floors and is within a 5-minute walk of the centre of this historic town. A spacious entrance hallway, on the middle floor, with staircases leading up to two bedrooms and down to the main living accommodation. On the lower level is a well-equipped kitchen and spacious lounge/dining room furnished with double sofa and armchairs, wood burning stove and Smart TV with Sky HD and Bluetooth speaker. The dining area has an extendable table seating up to eight comfortable with French doors leading out onto the terraced balcony. On the entrance level is a further comfortable furnished sitting room, with bay window views and Freesat TV. This room has a sofa bed available at additional charge. There are three bedrooms in total. On the upper level are two double bedrooms, the first has a super king size bed (that can be split on request to create two singles) and the other, a king size wooden framed bed. On this level is also the family bathroom, with separate shower cubicle The third bedroom, on the entrance level has a king size bed and en suite shower room. There is an additional cloakroom on the lower ground floor. The terraced balcony is ideal for al fresco dining - has a table with six chairs, whilst the lower decking has a lovely five-seater garden suite, ideally placed for catching the afternoon sun. Off street parking, for a small/medium car, at the property and a parking permit is provided for the town centre car park (subject to availability of space).
Situated on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, Dartmouth is a beautiful harbour town in South Devon, a perfect destination for all year round short breaks and holidays. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Dartmouth provides stunning countryside surroundings with the coast within very close proximity making this area one of the most popular for visitors to Devon. The beautiful estuary and the coast are home to many watersports such as sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding or why not try surfing at one of the nearby surf schools. Relax on the sandy Blue Flag awarded Blackpool Sands Beach, one of the most popular family beaches in the area or if feeling more energetic use the beach as a base for a walk as the beach is directly on the South West Coast Path.
Visit Dartmouth Castle, superbly located in the mouth of the estuary with wonderful views from the top tower and has been guarding the area since 1388. Explore Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie now run by the National Trust. Nearby Woodlands theme park boasts the largest watercoasters in Devon, a farm with all the family favourites including meerkats, all set within beautiful grounds of 100 acres. Take a trip on one of the many ferries and head out for a day to explore nearby Salcombe, Torquay or Totnes or stay on land and explore the English Riviera on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
