Nearby to Dartmouth’s famous Foss Street, guests are just a short stroll to a host of excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as an eclectic mixture of art galleries and boutiques. When not out exploring the town or enjoying life by the river, guests can relax in comfort in the property’s well-finished and presented accommodation, where thoughtful consideration has been made to blend a contemporary style with the property’s period features. The property has private off-street parking for one vehicle. The designated parking area is a garage, open at one end without a door. It is located approximately 10m further along Clarence Street from the property. The beautiful estuary and the coast are home to many watersports such as sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding or why not try surfing at one of the nearby surf schools. Relax on the sandy Blue Flag awarded Blackpool Sands Beach, one of the most popular family beaches in the area or if feeling more energetic use the beach as a base for a walk as the beach is directly on the South West Coast Path.
Visit Dartmouth Castle, superbly located in the mouth of the estuary with wonderful views from the top tower and has been guarding the area since 1388. Explore Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie now run by the National Trust. Nearby Woodlands theme park boasts the largest watercoasters in Devon, a farm with all the family favourites including meerkats, all set within beautiful grounds of 100 acres. Take a trip on one of the many ferries and head out for a day to explore nearby Salcombe, Torquay or Totnes or stay on land and explore the English Riviera on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
