Anchor Cottage is a charming mid-terrace cottage situated just yards from two beautiful sandy beaches in the heart of Hope Cove. The well-equipped cottage has a great beach and sea views from many of its rooms and the sunny garden. The house itself has a cosy lounge with a log burner and a smart open-plan kitchen and dining area, ideal for family gatherings. As well as two sandy beaches and the South West coast path being on the doorstep, there is also the village shop and the popular and family friendly Hope & Anchor pub and Cove restaurant. This cottage is positioned in truly one of the most sought-after locations in the whole of South Devon.

Ground floor entrance to:
Lounge with two sofas, armchair, TV (Freeview and Netflix), DVD player and log burner.
Kitchen with electric cooker and hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine, small tumble dryer, dining table to seat 6 and door to rear garden.
Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.

First floor:
Bedroom 1 with 4ft 6in double bed.
Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds and sink.
Bedroom 3 with 3ft bunk beds.

Outside:

At the rear of the property is a lawn area for the cottage with a picnic bench (please note that there are no fenced boundaries between the garden areas of the other cottages in the row). The ground rises and extends onto the higher part of the hillside. This natural area is owned by all the cottages in the row, so is communal and although the views from the top are spectacular, children will need very careful supervision as it is unfenced and the land drops away as a vertical cliff face to the sea below. The front of the cottage faces a single-track lane, mainly used as a footpath between the beaches. There is a small terrace area at the front of the property with a bench.

Hope Cove

Lying on the coast of the popular South Hams area of Devon, Hope Cove consists of two sandy bays called Inner and Outer Hope. The perfect destination for families looking for a traditional beach holiday with paddling, swimming, sand castles and rock pooling. The beaches have red sandstone cliffs to the rear which provide not only a beautiful backdrop but a shady area if needed. Both beaches back onto the charming village where there are plenty of places to eat out as well as shops for those last-minute beach needs. The more popular Mouthwell Sands beach also benefits from a seasonal lifeguard service and dogs are allowed between October and April. The village beach is pet-friendly all year round but must be kept on a lead.
